Greenpeace and Sea shepherd throw toxic chemicals on ships. Most of those chemicals end up in the water.

One time, Greenpeace members left a dead whale in front of Japanese embassy in Germany, costing the City of Berlin over 30,000 Euro to clean up the corpse.

Protesting itself isn't a crime; however, these guys pursue the ways of terrorism, and destroy the environment.
