At around 4:16am on July 5th, San Jose Fire Department received reports of an elementary school on fire. By 5:30am the incident had escalated to 6 alarms, leaving the main building of San Jose Unified's Trace Elementary Schol containing the library, media center and 16 classrooms, destroyed.
Early morning operations included 6 Trucks running Master Streams, multiple hand lines, deck guns and remote monitors. Water pressure was certainly a problem.
Impressive. First HD fireground video I have seen from a 7D. Are you using anything to stabilize your camera (tripod, monopod, stabilizing rig, etc.)?

@firstduephotos Thanks Ted...
I use the Blackrapid Camera strap, which it turns out is actually reasonably useful when it comes to stabilizing. On the 7D shooting video you can't look through the viewfinder (since the mirror is up). So I hold the camera out in front of me to view the screen - adjusting the Blackrapid strap to use it the way it is designed means I can hold the camera tensioned against the strap - 2 arms pushing out, the strap pulling back against my body. Works pretty good.
