What a nice cheery story. I was rather impressed by the vocabulary for a 9 year old. I suspect the teacher just wrote that because she was didn't know how to deal with two deaths and severe brain damage in a story that had "begun so well". I thought it was grand! PS. If your mum and dad sobered up, I hope you had a good Christmas day!

When I was 9 my teacher made my mum come into school to have a meeting about one of my stories. It was called demons vs the mafia :)

I like how she conveniently glossed over the fact there was probably some severe mental issues developing. Today you would have been diagnosed with ADHD, drugged up and a note would have been sent home to your Mum saying 'You don't play well with others.'
