We visited the Dallas Makerspace for this show. If you're in the DFW area, you should plan a visit. If you're somewhere else, do a little research, there's probably a hacker group nearby. They're well worth checking out!
What's a Hacker Space?
People who like to tinker with tech and gadgets, and just about anything else, to make them a little better and a little cooler, are hackers. A hacker space is a place where they gather to work on their projects and celebrate their victories.
Benefits of the Group Environment
Having a bunch of like minded tinkerers and builders in one place has some real advantages. Suggestions pass back and forth and inspiration is everywhere you turn!
