Dr. Schmitt does himself no favours saying this and if he's not carefull people won't take him seriously and will maybe wonder 'did he go to the moon like he said he said he did?'.

IPCC consensus is "painted on." Fewer than ten names on the list endorsed AGW. All the rest are on the list merely because they provided data on various aspects of climate -- without dealinfg with the AGW hypothesis or data which couldeither support or refute it. IPCC refused to remove names when scientists objected to the fraud.
