Superior Drummer 2.0® and Gladiator! Drums line over several mixed samples from soundtracks by the epic movies "Gladiator" and "300", brilliantly written by Hans Zimmer and Tyler Bates (based on Eliot Goldenthal anthems) respectively.
This is my tribute and "metallic" vision of these epic soundtracks, it is also an educational video for those interested in writing drums using Toontrack's® software together with Sonar Cakewalk®.

What really amazes me is the ability to articulate the velocity of every note!

@jjpl2001email Well i write drums by phases.. First i care about the main rhythm, (in this case i had also to play with the BPM) next i create all the different patterns and passages.. velocity comes in the end. Its not hard if you already have a drummer basis sense and you know how the physics work, when you are for instance making a snare part.. Example: hiting the snare at 117 - 100 - 114 - 117.. It's a try-out process but you got to trust your ear.. Cheers! Thanks for the comment.
