Honestly as much as the movie didn't fully characterize or discover the other characters, Dr. Manhattan was so well written in the comic that he stood out no matter how short the movie was for such a largely detailed comic

But this living organism called "Dr. Manhattan" also calls the existence of life a "highly overrated phenomenon". I myself have trouble understanding social, cultural, and emotional phenomenon, and even I understand life better than Dr. Manhattan.

It's just pretty hard to conceive how such an intelligent, knowledgeable, multi-present being can have so much less wisdom than when he was only human and more ignorant of his surroundings.

@rrekydoc Some awakened people feel like Manhattan. Looking at my family, my friends, the people of this society... When you realize that everything is an illusion you become emotionally detached. Then all the talking around you feels like noise, many times I just space out and can't focus on everyday trivial bullshit what the people are talking about. They are attached to their ideas, egos, they hate out of fear of different, unknown. It's mind numbing. I totally feel this character.

@rrekydoc Well if you could have his exact powers and wanted to go away from people as far away where you can hear nobody,space is a good place....by the way the universe is everything and is not complex at all because is just physical and astronomical events which he can understand because he is Dr.Manhattan,but humanity takes emotions which he can't understand because he is emotionally detached

Absolutely phenomenal movie that captured every single character. I'm so glad Dr. Manhattan was able to shine like he did in the comic book.
