  • I love your work. I'm a hand quilter as well. When I realized you were about to begin another quilt.. I got very excited! Go baby GO

  • the art snobbling crowd shits me...GRIN

  • whenever I listen/read what art 'experts', critics, collectors and historians go on and on with their opinions about various works of art I often think that if they could actually speak with the artist, he/she would tell them he/she is out of his/her mind.

    Al Fresco - he's a plein air artist isn't he? ;)

  • Oh I miss al fresco, it is winter here and no one goes out. Your art speaks to me of life and experience and wisdom. I always find so much more from your videos than their original intent.

  • I enjoy hearing you ideas

    Your thoughts are lovey

A true artist who loves life

As art a professor to her friends and students.

  • Can anyone really explain Picasso or his work? Could Picasso explain himself? hmmm I am so glad you went because I would have gone as well.

  • What’s happening today Margaret? Has Pablo inspired you to do anything different with the quilt?

I remember walking round a Jackson Pollock exhibition tutting and raising my eyebrows at all the ‘daubs’, until I came round a corner and was suddenly completely riveted by one of his works. Stood staring at it for ages - no idea what made that one different from the rest, but it was just stunning. Funny stuff, art…

  • Margaret, I would have enjoyed being at the Picasso Exhibit.

  • @GreatGig1 Thank you for your comment. You helped me immensely. I feel the same way you do...:-)

  • People have told me all my life that I just don't understand art or artists, because I either like something or I don't. No reason why I like it or not. It's just how I feel when I see it. So...I just continue to like it or not...in my way...without reason...ha! In the eyes of others, I'm not very sophisticated in the ways of art...and I'm ok with that...:-)

I hope this comment made some sense...:-)
