Paul Ryan-Man In The Crowd (C'est la vie) Lyrics,Taken from Paul's "SCORPIO RISING)
L.P.1976 Electric Keyboards-Paul Ryan, Arranged By PaulRyan, Enjoy. Barry's new webb address is http://barryryan.net

Lord give me harmony
Lord don't give me sympathy
Lord just give me melody-I will lay them down

There's a man in the crowd
and he knows that love is just a smile away
he plays the games he knows he has to play
he's just a man

And love is good-love gets you high
so say c'est la vie and let the world go by
mend your broken smiles and let others cry
you're just a man
Lord knows you're doing what you can

C'est la vie, il y a toujours le mot mélodie
you're only loving me-for the music of my mind

When you're in love and there's no doubt
hold your head up high and you can shout it out
when the love comes in -the loneliness goes out
you're just a man-you're doing what you can

C'est la vie-et toujours la meme melodie
why are you loving me-it's just the music from my mind

There's a man----------He's just a man

Lord give me harmony
Lord don't give me sympathy
and lord just give me melody-i will lay them down
C'est la vie.

  • Nice to hear you, Paul, sing another of your sweet melodies I didn't know ... and with a few words in French, lots of thanks from a French fan ! C'est la vie, il y a toujours le mélodie, always melodies for anyone to make life beautiful with music, we all find singers and a kind of music we love !

I wonder if your own records have ever crossed the Channel, I only saw records by Barry in the record shop I would go to in the early seventies, and so, I'm really very pleased to hear them now !

  • " C'est la vie, il y a toujours le mot mélodie ", yes, Paul, there's always a melody linked to our personal events in life.

And my 68 songs were Eloise and Love is Love, my 69 songs were The colour of my love, and all the stunning songs on " Barry Ryan sings Paul Ryan ", my 70 songs were Kitsch and The Hunt, my 71 song was Co-Co by the Sweet, and my 72 songs were Can't let you go and From my head to my toe.

How could I forget your English songs when I was spending my summers in England ?
