  • GunnerMan23 is exactly right! As stated in the video, degassing the tank prior with the AquaKlean is necessary before attempting any welding.

  • Can you tell me what the difference is between your product and POR15?

  • He also noted the use of dry ice if they hadnt used the cleaner. Dry ice is Co2, nitrogen would be better co2 would work fine...

  • Although welding gas tanks can be very dangerous if done improperley, these guys used a cleaner in it many times that disolved and washed out any residual gas and other crud. They then filled it with water a few times thus evacuating any remaining fumes. I would not be afraid to weld that tank after that process.
