Bolt- "Mad World" by Adam Lambert AMV

***HIGH QUALITY***

My first Bolt AMV! Woohoo! This is also my first AMV made on my laptop! =) And my first AMV with a chroma key scene! And it should hopefully fill the entire screen. Lots of firsts today. XD Took about 3 hours or so to do.

So, what happened to all my AMV's, you ask? Well, WMM on my main computer (my faster one with a monitor and stuff) is screwed up; when I click on clips, they won't play and the preview is the last frame, not the first. This is with both Spirit and TLU. I might not be able to make vids with those movies for a while, sprry guys. ='(

Now, my laptop can be slow, but I decided to give it a go. I finally saw Bolt a few days ago and fell in love with it, so I ripped it to my laptop. (Now I have like, NO space on it, LOL) I imported it into WMM and viola! The only problem is that when it ripped, everything is out of order. For example, on second it will be the scene where Penny and Bolt are running through the woods and the next second it will be Rhino with the dogs. =P Oh well, it's better than nothing. This also means that the only movie I can do AMV's with currently is Bolt. Don't worry, I downloaded a lot of extra effects. ;)

Okay, the song. Adam Lambert (AKA, THE best singer on American Idol!) performed this song on tuesday night on American Idol. This was my most favorite performance he's done yet. It gives me chills. What better song to use for my first Bolt video?

This was also my first time attempting lip-syncing in an AMV. You should be able to tell where it is and where it isn't. ;) Some parts (especialy the times where the lines are "I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take") I think I got spot-on! =D

Tears :'-( I've listened to 20 remixes of this song the past month, looking for a great one, and this is certainly the most emotional (or maybe it was the imagery). The only thing that stuck out technically was the color fringing around the Bolt matting at 0:59. Everywhere else, the scene selection, the timing, fade usage, syncing... excellent. Favorited!
