@Maloperverso Ever seen the movie Tears of the sun? easiest way I can explain it, is terrorists in the middle east do horrendous things to the civilians in their country. In this situation, I would guess that they did it to simply terrorize and kill this man, and the bomb, while guaranteeing this mans death, may kill other innocent people (or US soldiers) as well. They want to kill. This is comparable to tears of the sun, because the rebels in that movie just live to kill as well.
