I am a college and theological seminary professor who has over 50 years of studying and teaching sunday school, theology, psychology. socioligy, anthropology,etc.Consequently, I am blessed to have a deep understanding of human nature. That being said, what I am percieving from these negative comments about this young lady's singing" I love to call his Name" is a sad reflection on people who claim to be christians. Word of advice Sista, When you sing about Jesus think of things you have been through and before you know it you will be overtaken by his spirit. Please don't take offense to my comment, singing is a ministry and your words and heart must sync together to reach souls. peace

Her voice is BEAUTIFUL! But she seems to be putting NO feeling into the song. Maybe it was nerves.

she did a good job but i almost didn't want to finish it cuz there's like no feeling or emotion coming from her. it's kind of offsetting. but she did good.

Unfortunately, negative comments about your singing is a culturally induced orientation to music that has transferred to too much music, especially music performed in and outside the church. The medium has become the message. That is why I love gentle,sweet,soft music that comes from the heart and soul, not the mouth. So, keep on singing from your heart and soul sweetie.

Per chance you read this, I want to say a few things about your song. It is beautifuly sung. I feel it coming from your heart and that it what is important. People who are making these negative comments need to stop and get a reality check. Real, substantive, effective, qualitative, spiritually grounded music is not about the mouth( ie., loudness, yelling, etc). Rather, it is about the heart and soul being in touch with Jesus and Him knowing what is truly being felt in your heart and soul.
