@luisbeck007 The problem is no the hardware but the software. Currently algorithms are far from making computers as intelligent as a simple insect. Building a computer with a high computing power without intelligent algorithms is like having a death brain in our hands: useless.

I think we will have to wait far beyond 2020 to really see intelligent robots. Just take a look to 'Robocup' and you will see how stupid current robots are.

if you look on bbc iplayer there is a documantery called the secret life of chaos and at the end it shows a program with a natural selection process allowing only the creatures best at walking to breed I mean thats like being a god
