i shift by ear. and i'd love to have a new magnaflow catback exhaust system to get the extra power. i normally shift at 8,000, just a habit.

Nice. Do you shift by ear or do you lood at the rpm gauge? Your shifts were pretty spot on. I also have the 03GT did you know that our cars have an overrev feature that allows them to rev to 8400 rpm? Mine only did it a few times until i put a custom cat back exhaust with 2.5" pipe from the cat back (stock converter) with a Flowmaster40 no less, and now it revs to 8400 every time in every gear. its awesomeI I get 90mph out of 3rd and 119mph out of 4th at the redline. vs 85 and 114 stock.
