  • it sounds like a big fail

  • @Nakato5 Actually, this is an intelligence test masquerading as a piece of music.

  • Being my third time listening to this (each time in a different video version), and again being confronted with the (puzzling) dissatisfaction of so many commenters, I'd like to pose this simple, or perhaps complex, question... what makes music good? Is it the aesthetic quality (being whether or not a person enjoys hearing/listening to it), or is it structure, and form? Is it both? Neither? Is that even a valid question? Perhaps I should be asking what makes something music instead of sound...

  • @siliconface No simple answer to your question has been found.

  • and over half of the people disliked it?!

  • @PianoDude1011 For me, that's a record.

  • It intrigues and facsinates me. I do not know if I would call it good, or bad, but I think the program certainly makes it more easy to understand. listening to this without the visual aid feels like putting your head underwater and trying to understand a foreign language, while listening with the aid feels like just trying to understand a foreign language. With the visual aid, I can see the structure, almost feel and see how it sounds. Kudos to you.

  • @musanim Yup. It just doesn't make sense. it was short and simple. What more could you ask for?

  • Awe, you should have written more!

Well, short and sweet, I guess.

Hopefully next time we get a sixteen minute epic~

  • @19ZeldaLover95 If "sense" comes from tonality, then it makes no sense. If "sense" comes from other features (e.g. imitation) then it makes as much sense as any piece of contrapuntal music.
