How to get rid of Mormons

This is stupid. Just tell them you are not interested. And if they insist tell them you will call the police. The same with Jehovahs Witnesses. Most of them will just simply leave. What harm can people do coming to a door politely with a bible. I mean it could be worse. Catholics were coming with swords 1000 years ago. To me this is a slight inconvenience and at times ive had interesting discussions with Jehovahs Witnesses. Im a Unitarian and there is no need to act like a jack ass.

@slyarsenal Ever ask Slyarsenal what his views on porn, orgies, smoking, and alcohol are?

As an ex-Mormon I just tell them I am Tibetan-Buddhist. They just get a dumb look on their faces and leave.

@Willywonka1455 Well shit, I didn't know that Mormons had the psychic ability to completely change your state of mind WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT by JUST TALKING TO YOU. Please! Don't stop at shutting the door! Wear tin-foil hats! They might soon have the power to convert you by getting inside your head without talking to you! I would like to know what belief gives you the outright duty to make yourself look like an asshole to someone that has been NOTHING BUT NICE to you.

@Iamoldenough92 Yes they are there to convert you and make you one of their followers. What do you think they are there for? Many people have their own beliefs and find this insulting. Nothing wrong with letting them know this. One insult deserves another.

I know mormons. They don't want the lunacy spread around

@FourLivingCreatures It's not a threat I couldn't give a shout if he films them. I agree with what he is doing but at the same time don't want him to get in trouble over it. Dude I didn't make the law. I just know about this cause that's my job. To deal with getting permission to film people everyday.

@DAVIDInitiative I'm not a Mormon, but even I know that this guy's intentions wasn't one out of sympathy. You have the right to believe in what you want in the United States, and these guys just want a second of your time to talk, not to convert or brainwash you. You could simply deny their offer, but no, you gotta be a dick to someone who has nothing but good intentions in mind. When someone else rings on your doorbell, keep in mind that there's a human being on the other side of that door.
"I'm not to comfortable being filmed" My responce. "My house, my rules".

"...get us to say certain things."
1). If they really believed in that garbage, they would have stayed to talk about it, right into the camera.
2). They know it's full of shit- and they don't want to look stupid by furthering it on camera. Plus, if one of their brainwash leaders ever saw that video circulating on Youtube (irony-fuck), then they might get the shit beat out of them.
