Alan Merrill, performing a song originally from his Polydor solo album released in 1985, "Always Another Train"-
The song was originally recorded by Alan Merrill's band The Arrows, and the first recorded version is on the album Arrows & Friends "Tawny Tracks" which was produced by Bill Wyman.
This is a different version, recorded after The Arrows disbanded in 1977, about a year after the first recording of the song. This version is available on CD, on Alan Merrill's "Never Pet A Burning Dog" album.
Co-produced by Alan Merrill and Jimmy Miller, the track featured with the slideshow was recorded at Island Studios in London, England. The photos are from various public domain sources, depicting the players on the recording.
