that zf gearbox it has very close gear ratios after first holds on for abit it goes into second then 3rd gear almost instantly. 2nd to 3rd changes too quickly

Not a common engine is this olympioan being a Gardner 6LXCT. The ZF gearbox doesn't sound quite right. I've noticed ZF gearboxed sometimes being slippy in low gears especailly if the drivers is being jerky on the accelrator peddle.
