e46 BMW 2000 328i VANOS Rattle - Pre-Beisan Systems Seals Kit

This is the sound my VANOS was making on a cold start on my BMW e46 2000 328i's before the Beisan seals replacement. Notice the drop in RPM's every few seconds. This is a very common symptom of most, if not all 1999-2000 e46's if they still have their original VANOS seals. In addition to this annoying occurrence at a cold start, supposedly another side effect is a drop in performance. I will be replacing these seals myself with the Beisan replacement seals kit and will report back with another video and comments on any improvements. Yes, it was the VANOS seals. After I replaced them, this completely went away. If this is happening in your Bimmer, you need to get this kit and replace them. Pretty easy diy. Took me a couple hours. Most people who do it say they also notice a decent increase in HP, since the VANOS finally starts working as it's supposed to. EVERY Bimmer '00 to I think '05 or something has bad seals if they haven't replaced them, so chances are, if you watched this video, you need them.
