This is a film that my friends and I shot in about 8 hours, it turned out pretty well although I would have liked to re-shoot some bits (especially the start). But it's experience all the same.

Filmed on a Canon 7D.

Lens used: EF-S 18-135mm Zoom lens.

Sound: Rode VideoMic.

Thanks for watching.

  • Hi LrnStudios,Nice work! I am particularly interested in how you edited the video from 2:13 onwards giving it that beautiful contrast dark-green-gloom effect. Could you let me know how you achieved it? thanks.

  • @vconverge Yeah sure. Basically the original footage was slightly overexposed, so I first used a levels and a curves adjustment to crush the blacks a little. I then desaturated it quite a bit and added a greenish hue to the footage by altering the appropriate colour wheels. The whole film was colour corrected inside 'color' which was great to use. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions I'll be happy to answer them. Thanks for the kind words.
