The Fundamentalist Christian and Homosexuality.

My monologue on the issue of homosexuality, how fundamentalist Christians deal with the issue and the Bible, and how unfortunate mistranslations and traditions have led fundamentalist Christians astray.

I am a fundamentalist Christian coming to terms with the error that I, and my siblings in Christ, have made when dealing with LGBT persons. My thesis is that being being gay is okay, and that God and the Bible does not condemn LGBT persons. I take the perspective of a fundamentalist Christian, a group that has been demonized, hated, and ridiculed by the media and the population at large. I also hope to create some understanding and compassion for fundamentalist Christians. We need love too; especially if change is desired.

@coolgreyoneabby No I'm not. I understand they're mutually exclusive. I mentioned both because it's wrong on both counts. Even were God exempt nature isn't. Morality adheres to natural inclination as it pertains to biological function. There are men and women for the purpose of reproduction so any time a penis goes into an anus it's immoral, as is the blow job you alluded to. One doesn't negate the other, nor does it exclude me from the sinful nature of the act. So, ya I'm a sinner too.

@coolgreyoneabby No I'm not judging and no two wrongs do not a right make, nor do they a judgement incur. I'm adhering to a scripture I abide by that determines who gets judged or I'm otherwise not the Christian I profess to be. I think no less of homosexuals, nor do I condemn anyone. It's God's job to condemn and judge. And I'll be shocked if you're a believer since most people who defend the lifestyle aren't even though many still profess to be. If my God says it's wrong, it's wrong.

@GodzzzSon I avoid church since ALL organized religion is man made. All of it. Any claim that a clergy or book of any religion knows more about God than I do is pure bullshit. And I do not claim to know anything about him. All religious zealots are essentially arguing about nothing. Religion is ancient superstitions where everyone thinks they have the inside track on truth, but in reality NONE of you do. The only thing religion gets correct is that the other religious guy is wrong.

No judgement here, but homosexuality is wrong on all fronts. It defies & defiles biology, anatomy, physiology & morality. Human reproductive/biological function relies on anatomical/physiological systems for the purpose of creation which is conducive only between man & woman. To love other humans is to be expected. It's when we go beyond emotion into physical manifestation that we pervert natural & biblical precedent. The anus is a secretive organ. There's NO justification for anal sex.
