I really think Talkster is a Rebtel-me too with a twist. True it doesn't ask you to sign in or enter any personal information, but you and your friend(s) will have to bare with a 10 seconds commercial before you could start talking. The good thing is that now, you really have the choice for free and simple (no PC or software required) international calling: one that requires to sign-in (Rebtel), the other that is ad supported (Talkster). Personally I prefer the former. And quality-wise? It's the same poor quality on a Talkster or a Rebtel free call.
Here's how it works. Both, you and your friend(s) call the Internet phone service local number. The service then makes the connection between the two and then you can talk for free, forever. But Talkster has a slight advantage over Rebtel: you could be up to 5 friends on a call, whereas Rebtel limits you to one. Imagine. One on each continent!
its rebtel not talkster and when i went there i didnt get any free minutes i already have an account can you guys plz add pakistan to the free list plz

I call get connected through talkster long enough to give the person in germany the number and we get it call eachother, connect and talk. Does the person in germany get charged an international rate by their phone company for calling the number I gave them since it obviously is a north america area code?
