A pretty tune taken from Narada Michael Walden's second solo LP after moving on from the Mahavishnu Orchestra, I Cry, I Smile (1977). Walden later became famous as soloist (Tonight's the Night, Divine Emotions) and especially as a producer (for Sister Sledge, Whitney Houston, Arethat Franklin, Al Jarreau, Jeff Beck, Stacy Lattisaw, Steve Winwood, Diana Ross and others).
i must admit this is a perfect composition, it is well balanced, a soft tune with a nostalgic feeling. He shows great harmonic skills regarding the chords of the refrain ( "I remember" ) Cj7 - Fj7 - Bbj7 - Gb m 7 ! B 7 Cj7 . The guitar solo is a special highlight ! i appreciate it.

Hiram Bullock's guitar work is understated, but memorable. It still entices, after 30 + years.
