There is also the time trial cheat of turning off the timer on the time trials, however it only works on the XBOX platforms.
I use this tool all the time, but never really thought about using it to avoid the boss. Smart, ;)

Hmmm. Das müsste man dann wohl ausprobieren, denke aber, dass man sich dann auch Arthus sparen kann...
