SHOW NOTES

The boot time of a minute and a half is the time it takes for a fully loaded Windows installation to become usable. The time it takes for the desktop to appear on a fresh install with no software installed yet and the Quick Boot BIOS option activated is 30 seconds.

There have been reports of "grain" on the screen. This is a result of the anti-glare coating on the screen.

If after adjusting the color correction you still find the screen to be a bit too blue, try setting the red's gamma to 1.1.

Yep. That's why I couldn't find it. The auction was over.

From the pictures, it looked like the hardware configuration was legitimate. The 900HA already had one battery installed, and the second battery was also in the shot.

The only doubt I have are the authenticity of Windows 7 and Microsoft Office. Those components alone should have been worth well over $200. They could have been trial or pre-release versions.

It might not entirely be a red flag, but it was definitely a yellow one.

Thank you for the great review. I watched the reviews for both the 900HA and 1000HE and was able to choose the 900HA for my netbook. I wanted as small and powerful as possible and the advantages on the 1000HE didn't offset the larger size and over $100 increased price for me. Thanks for doing such great reviews to make my decision easy.

I bought one of these for $150 off a kid at school, and its awesome!

I plan on just upgrading the battery and ram, and its the perfect on the road computer!

anyone have advise how long the 8 cell battery would run on this computer? I seen some on ebay

well guess it doesnt matter if the windows 7 was a trial version, he still included window XP, extra battery,2 gigs of ram, and not to mention 300 gig of hdd!!! i only wish i had bid with more confidence and won the it =/
