ESF: Goree Island, Senegal

Goree Island is off of the coast of Senegal and was the "Slave Depot" where over 20 million African Men, Women and Children were taken from other countries in Africa to Senegal and then off to other parts of the world and into slave labor. The term often used when referring to this island is "The door of no return."
