A beautiful woman and fine actress.

That's some serious MILF-age!

This is a scene from "Aru eiga-kantoku no shogai" (Kenji Mizoguchi: The Life of a Film Director) that made in 1975. She said she enjoyed making Ugetsu Monogatari without worrying anything but when she watched rush films, she thought other veteran actors, Mori Masayuki, Tanaka Kinuyo and Mito Mitsuko were so much better. On Yokihi, she was having hard time as Mizoguchi wasn't satisfied the way she portrayed the role that she felt she had enough of working with the director.

Oh, yes. Her sceen presence is so powerful, full of grace and a fierce intelligence.
She has been a personal favorite for nearly 40 years and she always will be.
