Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES play through part 1

Like millions of other kids, I got this game one Christmas morning, and thought it would be the greatest thing ever. The intro scenes are pretty cool, but the music isn't the Ninja Turtles theme. Then I got to the gameplay, and... it was something else. Looking back now, the music is awesome (as is most Konami/Ultra music for the NES), but the game is just plagued with bad level design and some poor hit detection.

This video has levels 1 and 2, including the dreaded dam section. I cut it a little closer than I would like.
