Video 25: Grandma plays Dead Space

Grandma juuust completed Chapter 9 of Dead Space. Two things I've noticed while watching her: she likes to shoot single blades at enemies with the ripper rather than just holding the blade out and cutting them up easy. Second- She wastes stasis modules by mashing the X button on her controller "just to make sure they've stopped." Both are unbreakable habits, it seems :) Not like I can talk, though- she's better than me at the damn thing.

The art director of Dead Space, Ian Milham, was very kind to send Grandma a copy of the game when he noticed she hadn't played it yet.




Grandma's biggest frustration with Dead Space has been the quickness at which one can use a medpack to heal. If there is a way to hotkey the thing so she doesn't have to go through her inventory each time she's in trouble, she hasn't found it yet. Let us know if you have any suggestions.

Needless to say, she dies a lot. :)

Also! I just noticed she's wearing her Left 4 Dead 2 shirt she scored at PAX 09'
