Here is my Peter Brock tribute video. It covers 8 of Brocks 9 Bathurst wins to a song that really suits him.

Next I will upload the whole 1979 Hardie Ferodo 1000 race.

  • yep that was great .Brock was a true champ ,on and off the track ,his impact on Australian life is larger than some people know.Nice memories .

  • He was my hero when I was a kid , he was a great role model for kids to follow . He kept his personal life away from the public as much as a person can even though in his own words he wasn't perfect . I will always miss him but will always admire his legacy .

  • @ieatpeas24 and you think the 351 clevo used in moffats cars were "aussie"??? along with the yank 9inch diff and yank toploader gearbox?? pffft another know it all, and his LJ torana ran a 202 straight six AUSSIE motor that wiped the ass off the HOeys hahahaha 9 times mate he was and always will be the BEST

  • @outofideas101

The polarizer...lol...bwahahahaha....yeah a dentist thought that one up and Brocky thought he was onto a million dollar idea, pity GMH didn't agree. Im not saying Brock didn't have race winning talent, im just saying he had it easy compared to almost everyone else.

  • @SPOOKSTR What about the 1975 win where unexpectantly he won in a privateers car which was on a very tight budget. And what about the 1987 win where Holden dropped all support for him after the polarizer affair. In that race they had to be beg, borrow and steal just to get the parts to run the car and the car that he actually won in was made up of second hand parts. They were that broke that they had no money for fuel to get the transporter home. And don't forget his teamates had identical cars.

  • @ieatpeas24 you just made your self look stupid, Brocky didnt win any Bathursts with a 307.It was 202, 308 or 304 Holden Blocks. If you want to count the 24hr race, that was a 427 Chev. Aussie owned built and won, and Im a Kiwi, ya marnis.

  • ieatpeas24 - and Ford, BMW, Mazda and Nissan are all companies founded in Australia, right?

SPOOKSTR - Yes, Brock was able to build some awesome racecars with the backing of Holden, but no amount of money would steer them around a racetrack for you. Brock was extremely competitive in anything he managed to get his backside into, including a BMW M3 and a Ford Sierra (unceremoniously debadged). He had a natural talent for the feel of a car and how it should and could be driven. R.I.P. Brocky

  • Brock won with a yank 307 Chev under a aussie hood .. not much of an australian win.. brock used american tech to win for the team

  • Brock won with a yank 307 Chev under a aussie hood .. not much of an australian win

  • Lets get real here, Brock only had the career he had on account of Holden throwing massive amounts of money at his car.....and for quite a few years Ford didn't even have a factory car for him to compete against...Brocky was a great driver but lets keep it in perspective.
