Kate wanted to set Molly Bloom's famous soliloquy from Ulysses (1922) but was denied permission by James Joyce's estate. So she re-wrote it.
Think about that - she re-wrote one of the most complex and critically acclaimed pieces of fiction of the 20th century and succeeded in making it more erotic than the original.

She is Britain's true poet laureate....

  • i'd have to double check to say best, but this is definitely one of the lyrics i like the most. hello earth has a really inventive part.

  • Joyce's estate guards his stuff very closely. But she did Molly proud with this anyway. And got more than a few men (and maybe even women) pretty hot in the process.
