At Occupy London, Robin Smith of political think tank Real Reform and co founder of the Systemic Fiscal Reform Group does Economics 101 on the concrete.

He discusses the giant ponzi scheme, dwarfing the finanacial one yet hidden, but which we all take part in or aspire to. The great pyramid selling scam. The global game of Monopoly where everyone loses in the end. All because we have chosen not to think. And have left that to the experts and authorities.

We mean to reveal all this to the people. The truth about how we are allowing a system of political economy that is utterly unsustainable through legalised robbery.

Its not complex. All it requires is you find a quiet moment... pause... and think, very carefully about it.

Why is it our professors of economics, lawyers and accountants appear to have absolutely no idea either? They are protecting the vested interests of their masters of course!

  • squarecracker: No that is not how it would work. You would have secure possession to the land title. Of you dont want to sell it, dont sell it! If you do, sell it on the open and free market. Land value improvements are the easiest thing to value. We do it all the time. But I don't really support LVT anyway. I support Location Value Covenants as a remedy.

  • Excellent. Look forward to seeing that. Stop by at the tent and tell me about it all.

  • Apologies if quality was bad. This was an on the spot production, using basic gear, no rehearsal, uncut. The producer and interviewer I thought had a really good style

  • Content is fascinating but please make your videos more professional: in terms of sound quality, my old ears were struggling to discern his voice from the background bongos etc... If you want to get through to more of the 99% then make things watchable, and that does not mean slick/glossy/unnecessarily dumbing down like the mainstream media do. Good luck.

  • How do you value land improvements? In a single LVT system, why would I go and build a house if someone can price me out the next year? I've invested $100,000 dollars, and then I have no right to the land once someone else rents it, right? I can't take the private property (house, PPE) with me? How can we get around this?

  • @ingsoc2012 Oh dear, another horribly confused angry teenager. Well you've got a right to be annoyed but you're venting you're frustation on the wrong people here, unless you're willing start engaging your brain you'll never get to the bottom of what is going on and why. I won't be holding my breath.

  • @ingsoc2012 This is no place to be making idle threats. If you have an ideological disagreement with the content of the video please share it so it can be discussed in a grown up way. Throwing around terms such as "inflitrator" and "rat" demonstrate a complete lack of respect for someone that's obviously put a lot of effort into the movement.

  • I quite like this rough-cut quality and had no problem with the sound quality on a laptop with a decent sound card and speakers.
