This is the Remote app. With this app you can control iTunes on your computer ore mac from your your ipod ore iPhone.
- you need 2.x firmware
- you need wifi
- you need to be connected with a computer with the USB cable the first time

~~~~READ~~~~~ IF YOUR IPOD CANT FIND YOUR ITUNES LIBRARY MAKE SURE HOME SHARING IS TURNED ON ON YOUR IPOD !AND! YOUR ITUNES LIBRARY THUMBS UP SO EVERYONE CAN SEE THIS

i am on firmware 4.2.1 on an ipod touch and have itunes 10. when i connect my ipod to itunes and run remote, nothing showes up in the devices list. any help?

What firmware do you have to be on to use this??
My ipod touch is running on jailbroken 3.1.2 firmware, does it need to be updated??

make sure your bluetooth is ON!!!!

It uses wifi to connect to itunes. 1g iPod Touch does not have bluetooth.
