i was in that mall today, and i saw that 80% of the people who go their is hispanic, maybe 15% of the people going there is white non-hispanic. so, it's the oppossite as it used to be back in 1992 when hurricane andrew hit the area many people on which their homes where damaged got the homeinsurance checks of thousands of dollars and move out of the area. and the hispanics took over the area. so, hurricane andrew changed the face, characteristic and demography of south miami dade county forever.
South Dade made a comeback, but the demographics changed tremendously. In 1992 South Dade was mostly white-(non hispanic).but after Andrew most of them took their insurance checks and went north to live in Broward or elsewhere...today South Dade almost all hispanic
I'd say Miami Dade is more than 90% hispanic, such a shame.
