@ternia10 You can do your own research, but I wanted to point you in the right direction: pitbulls were used as nanny dogs in the late 18th/early 19th centuries. They're naturally loyal people pleasers. They do require a firm hand. NOT an abusive hand, but someone willing to take the time to train and exercise them with love. My pit is rough and tumble with us adults because that's how we allow her to play, but she's a total marshmallow around children.
