Problem with static when playing in live. I've adjusted latency every which way and nothing seems to help.

@saltyballs728 i think i've got it. you have to download the instrument kit from ableton.com. you can't hear anything because there aren't any instruments selected.

my problem is that i can't hear any sound when i doubleclick on any note on the keyboard.i do not have any input devices to use. so i selected no input devices, and then selected my soundcard as an output device but it still doesn't work. what can i do? thank you.

sometimes when i use ableton my speakers get a scratchy sound what is that?? it happens when press play in the beginning it okay but later on i see the battery at 90% is that good my speakers feel wierd

Any Idea how to set up the M-Audio FW 410 so i can use it as an external soundcard to headphone cue? I have a Mac book Pro 64 bit with the 10.6.3 . Do you know what the settings should be for the m-audio software? i am trying to use optical/s/pdif out.
