@helmsjon And Willie and Waylon will be long forgotten when Chet is still played. Pot smokin' ol' farts.

It sound 's live but i can't see a microphone in front of chets guitar. I know that chet played always live on tv, but on other clips, you can see a microphone.

fabioo, audio for video is an afterthought. especially when this video was done. consider that the audio bandwidth is narrow and the broadcast was probably mono, this is actually pretty good audio for the time. The sound man had to mic the band with a limited amount of mics and channels. He's going to get the main performers first and do the best he can with whatever he's got left to fill in the mix. try not to be so quick to judge and enjoy the fact that the footage exsists at all.

i hate it soo much when they do this, they must think we are stupid.. why can i hear only guitar when the pianist is also playing at the same time in the video?.. why did they dub this concert with a completly different live recording? i cant imagine chet would of been happy with this.

The man is a genius - but the backing is an excellent example of the Nashville sound of the sixties! I like it!
