Its sad that this classic movie was followed by Ensign Pulver in 1964,it was a joke,and a plle of crap,I loved the way Jack Lemmon found his balls

I always liked it how the sailor behind Pulver clenches his fist when Pulver says "Mr Roberts is dead"
Such a great movie. I remember watching this all the time when I was younger with my dad, a former Navy Officer.

I would like to see a remake of this, starring George Timothy Clooney as Mister Roberts. It might work.

The Quiet Man is my favorite, and this is my 2nd favorite. Love it!! As a teen I watched it in the local theatre about 8 times. Awsome movie!!Who's to replace these actors or movies today? you're right, no one.
