I believe that's actually a 36" wheel. Fairly popular among unicyclists, and the only size above 29" for which pneumatic tires are commercially available.
If anyone is more interested in bikes, there are at least two people who have built mountain bikes with 36" wheels.
Yeah. I chose the Tachyon cause I needed something that was shockproof and can handle extream conditions, plus longer battery life and bigger memory capacity, like being able to take a 32GB card and have upto 64 hours of recording time..and even 8 hrs on the highest setting.
Not for this project; the camera I'm using now takes full HD video and is adequate for what I'm doing with filming traffic. The Tachyon looks great for more rugged situations, especially rain; that's the one environment that I'd love to film in but the camera I'm using isn't waterproof.
Have you considered the Tachyon XC? I have it and its an excellent camera..well worth it if your shooting hours of video in the cold weather, especially.
Batteries last about 2-3 hours, but there's only a 1 hour video capacity, so the battery won't run out before the storage capacity is reached. I can boost the battery capacity with a small external charger, and also carry around a netbook to offload the video if necessary.

What kind of battery life do you get typically? I have the Tachyon and I get about 8-10 hrs on 2 Lithium Batteries. I assume around 3 hrs for yours?

It's mounted onto my helmet.

How do you have it mounted, on your handlebars cause your video is really smooth. Ride safe!
