Six kilometre race run around the Kalemegdan fortress, which overlooks the Danube and Sava rivers in central Belgrade, Serbia. The location has been inhabited for over 2000 years, hence the event name.
This year's race was won by the revelation of the season Josphat Menjo of Kenya, ahead of colleagues, world champ Eliud Kipchoge and Stephen Tum, followed by world record holder Saif Saaeed Shaheen of Qatar, and the Kenya-based Robertson twins Jake and Zane, from New Zealand
