I believe she has had her Erikae sometime recently and is now a Geiko! You can see on Flickr; she's very beautiful as a Geiko as well. ^_^

I didn't think their dances were open to interpretation. Aren't they supposed to dance them as they have always been danced?

JEEZ how do you guys keep up with current Maiko's and Geiko's....I only recognize a FEW names from videos and such on here and would love to learn as much as I can about Geisha and keep up as well. Looks like it is on to the libray/bookstore for starters...any suggestions for books/websites/documentaries on the subject?
