You should get a Vanguard Tracker Series tripod. That's what I use, and its very heavy duty and the wind of a train going by won't knock it over. Its about $175, but well worth it!

This might seem as a pretty stupid question but im not from the usa im from the uk im just wondering why do trains in the usa keep letting off the horns all the time? in the uk trains hardly ever use their horns

ya my camera is ok. just 2 day later. my camera and i fell in to the snow. my tri-pod was stinking up side down. my camera is fine.
