i think it looks great the only things i would have suggested doing is adding gray carpet and also putting it on the sides of cockpit walls

Cool Video, thanks for posting I am working on my own 1979 Ranger 1780V with an evinrude 115. I inherrited it from my dad when he died. I was raised on this boat and it is older than I am. A bunch of uncles and other family members used it over the years and have it a fubar mess so I will eventually have to overhaul the whole thing but I am working it in pieces. How much did your total restoration cost?

bondo is pretty cheap about $5.00/can the paint is interlux. kinda pricey but worth it. Dont use spray paint make sure you use a good marine grade paint! also have fun take your time and do a good job. The prep work is the most important so make sure that you do a good job bondoing sanding and all that pre paint working!
G/L post up your pics when you get a project started!

Hey, I am 15 and I found a passion for Rebuilding Old bass Boats, I have a 1975 Ankor Craft Tri-Hull Bass Boat, I was just wondering how much is that Bondoo stuff? and what Paint was that? I am not sure what paint to use on Fiberglass, and get the most mileage out of it. Thanks for the video, and that is A great song!

hey man you can lick my choad!

Thanks for the positive feed back! That paint at TSC.... doesn't fade out or get washed away? I fish in brackish water and a bay so i see a lot of paint look like crap after about a year of use when its introduced to salt water.

i like the boat..think it looks pretty good really..someones just pissed cause they fish an 8' bass buggy..a boats a boat..beats the snot outta sitting on the bank watching the guys on the boats burn em up while you cant even get a bite..restored a few boats myself.. i like the tsc tractor and trailer paint..thin it down and spray it with an airgun..fan some boat flake in and it looks awesome..anytime you can make money on a simple repair job is a plus in my book
Not only is it the best brand of boats in the world, it looks good!! (in the end!) Good job....

My boat doesnt need restoring. If it did i would look alot better than that. Come on man all you did was do a half ass paint job in ugly colors and put carpet in it. Oh I forgot to mention your cheap compartments you bought from boaters world. There is nothing good about this restoration. Woop de do you bondoed a flat surface and sanded it down. A five year old could do that. Ive seen plenty of restored bass boats that were restored and look alot better than that. Did you check the transom?

the transom is as strong as any new boats transom. this this is a diamond in the rough. I paid 300 for it, in worse condition then it was in and flipped it and sold it for 2500. this doesn't happen too ofter. i dont really care what you think. this was posted so i could sell it. BTW, i dont see any of your boat restoration vids.....
