bless your heart punkin....im from Texas and i know what a swamp cooler is ,we used to have one in the living room window...we never called 'em swamp coolers ,we just called it a water cooler...as long as we kept the house as well sealed as possible to keep the damned wet air out,they worked pretty good, we kept the window around the vent thingy completely sealed with a piece of masonite and two rolls of duct tape, the problem became that from the frickin humidity the thing drowned in itself

@KaiserDaPlush So basically, a swamp cooler will not work in an actual swamp.....

great video bro... very educational
Trust me you have it good out there..... I moved from NY to Phoenix in my early 20's and stay'ed for two years before returning to NY.... Well three years ago we moved to Coastal South Georgia because we wanted to get out of NY and the wife had family down here... Its 100 degree's during the day.. except the Humidity is god aweful... and you get no reprieve when the sun goes down because that same ever present humidity traps the daytime heat and makes sleeping without AC almost undoable..

@rainmechanic
UGH. Humidity... The ONLY good thing about the Mojave is there almost isn't any, so the heat is a nice dry one. But I like the Austin weather here. Humid summers, yeah, but by god they have seasons, snow sometimes too. I'll take seasons and snow over near endless dry heat any time ^^

I think Topock isn't too far from Bullhead...

I don't like swamp coolers.

@acnfanmanin They're nice, cheap alternatives, but I live A/C units more. Especially since if it gets humid, A/C will always work while swamp coolers take a dive and blow the outside wet air in =c
