MALABON CITY (PHI) — Game Highlights: Filipino Master Lihadores Atty. Orly Nepomuceno (Malabon) vs. Marlon Rivera (Cavite) at the Malabon Table Tennis "LIHA" Invitational held at the Batang Stadium, Malabon City on June 2011. (Full match available in DVD)

LIHA is a GENTLEMEN'S GAME and best played with ESER Rules
(Easy Serve, Easy Return).

Featured ESER Rule: THE EASY SERVE

The 1st half of the ESER Rule.

In LIHA, the ball must be served with a rolling motion towards the opponent's FOREHAND side. Upon landing in the opponent's court, the ball should have enough speed to bounce out of the table allowing the opponent to return the ball with a chopping stroke from outside the table.

This, when answered with an Easy Return, is designed to get both players into an easy, comfortable rhythm when starting a LIHA rally. LIHA is a low-impact action game and best enjoyed when players could sustain a long tactical rally until a point is won.

* More LIHA-ESER Rules will be featured in our succeeding video uploads
