Because I Love You - Chapter 2 (a jonas story)

-Henry greeted them at the door.
HENRY. Hey guys. -He said to Dulce.
DULCE. Hi. Where's the birthday girl? -Sarah runs to the door. She sees the Jonas Brothers and freaks out completely.
SARAH. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! YOU BROUGHT ME THE JONAS BROTHERS?!?!?!
SELENA. Hahahaha. Just for today, sweetie. They're a lot of responsibility. -She says jokingly, glaring at Joe.
SARAH. Oh, trust me, I can handle it. -She pulls Joe's hand drags him in the house.
JOE. Whoaaa

-The whole night, Henry's making Dulce uncomfortable with all his staring. Nick is getting really annoyed.

JOE. Look at him. Staring at YOUR woman all googley-eyed.
KEVIN. Yeah, are you just gonna let him sit there and get away with it?
SELENA. Oh, relax. Guys are always looking at Dulce.
NICK. That's true. -Nick shrugs his shoulders.
RENA. Man, you need to step up and protect what's yours. Go over there and show him what your made of.
DULCE. RENA! You're talking about me like i'm his freaking pet or something!
RENA. I'm just sayin...
NICK. Look, as much as I want to go over there and kick him where it hurts, I'm not going to. Because I trust -
-Nick turns around and finds Henry winking at Dulce.
NICK. THAT'S IT! -He gets out of his chair.
DULCE. Nick! -She pushes him back down in his chair.
NICK. But-She cuts him off.
DULCE. Look, I know that guy is being retarded, but we're not here for him. In a little while, all the guests will be here and I'll sing a few songs. Then we'll leave, I promise. -Dulce gives him a sweet peck on the lips.
-Nick is unable to be mad anymore.
NICK. Okay. -He says smiling. Joe and Kevin are cracking up.
DULCE. Shut up! -She throws a scrunched up napkin at their heads.

-Ten minutes later, Sarah tells Dulce that everyone's ready for her to sing. Sarah's mom has set up a small stage on the deck for Dulce to perform acoustically. She gets out her guitar and sings a few songs. The whole time, Nick was just watching his girlfriend in awe. Ironically, he thought that he didn't deserve her. It was the sweetest moment, the both of them making deep eye contact, she was singning only to him. It was like nothing else mattered. Until Nick caught a glimpse of Henry's jealous eyes. Nick's anger boiled over. He was too annoyed to not do anything. He was about to get up when-

DULCE. So! -Dulce stops right in the middle of her song. Nick sits back down.
DULCE. I'd like to thank all of you for inviting me to this awesome party...uhh...I really hope you guys enjoy it. I'm really sorry, but I have an emergancy gig. Uh, my manager says i have to be there right away. Happy Birthday Sarah!
SARAH. HOLD UP! -Dulce freezes.
SARAH. What's going on here? You said you would sing at my party.
DULCE. Yeah, well your dumbbutt of a brother keeps hitting on me. I did not sign up for THAT. -She looks over to Henry's embarrassed face.
SARAH. HENRY! YOU RUINED MY BIRTHDAY!
HENRY. Sarah-
DULCE. Stop, I really should be going. I'm sorry Sarah, but I promise to mail you the best birthday present you've ever gotten.
SARAH. Okayyyy. Thanks for coming anyway.
DULCE. Thanks for having me. Come on guys. -. -She gives one last look at Henry, he looks partly embarrassed and pissed. He looks at Nick giving him a dirty look. Nick returns the look. Just then Joe notices.....

JOE. WHOA! there's gonna be a showdown!!
NICK. Shut the hell up Joe!
