Hey! This vid kinda springs from several things. At first I was just gonna do a tribute to the Final Fantasies in general, but then I felt like doing something a little different, so here you go. I realised that most vids focus on particular pairings and things. For example, if there's a sad vid about Rinoa, it's usually connected with Squall, and so on. I decided to focus on the things that are usually overshadowed by pairings like that. What we don't usually think about is the fact that most characters of FF have lost something or someone else aside from another main character. So, this vid is a tribute to the girls of FF, and the people/things they lost on the way to becoming leading ladies. I'll give a brief description below, but you should be able to work it out from the vid.
Tifa: She lost her home and her father in Last Order, something that had a major effect on her.
Rinoa: She was betrayed by Seifer, whom she thought that she loved. Even if she didn't after all, a betrayal like that can still hurt.
Garnet: Her mother was killed. Despite how horrible she had been, I don't think anyone could see their mother die like that and not be upset by it.
Yuna: In order to defeat Sin, she had to destroy her aeons, who were her friends and allies. We know from x-2 that this hurt Yuna deeply.
Lenne: Although most vids focus on the fact that Lenne lost Shuyin, she also lost her own life. She lost all the joys of living, being able to sing and dance and live.
Kairi: She was separated from part of herself; her nobody, Namine, was torn from her during KHI. Even though she doesn't become a heartless, on a deep psychological level it must have affected her.
Ashe: I didn't have much room for Ashe in the main vid, so I decided to use her for the credits. Along with losing Rasler, Ashe also lost both her father and Basch. All her pillars of support were stripped from her; she became suddenly alone and betrayed.
Thanks for reading all this; enjoy the vid!!!
