Rock Band 2: 『Sequoia Throne』 Protest The Hero

The midi for this Audition Mode custom is now hosted on my scorehero account.

The master tracks for this song were uploaded for a remix contest a while ago so I used them to make this .rba. It was a pretty interesting experience trying to mix them properly to try and get the same sound as the original recording. For the chart, I took the original custom authored by xSergeantMINORx, altered a couple parts here and there, then added all the other things needed for Rock Band.

For Guitar, the main tapping parts are in solo sections so you can tap using the solo buttons.

For Drums, double bass kick was authored for the Expert difficulty; Hard difficulty has the single kick pedal version of what would be the Expert chart. Also, I authored the part at 0:35 the way I did because it's an obvious drum machine/studio overlay at that point, and I didn't want to make it impossibly hard.

Authoring Vocals was a bitch, because Rody is singing between pitches half the time, but I didn't have much trouble hitting the phrases on my play-through so the chart is intuitive.

The bass part on 0:19 to 0:31 is screwed up; they're supposed to be triplets. They follow the bass drum, pretty easy to figure out.

@Bellicosis You have to 'make' it yourself. I already made the midi for you though, you just have to provide the audio yourself and compile it to RB Audition format.

It's not that; you can turn them off in Audition Mode if you want to see how the chart looks like without fills. Especially since this is just a showcase for the chart, and the autoplay picks up all the OD, it'd be annoying if the drums would cut out every 4 or so measures with a silent fill section.

Very Nice Custom. i Can understand why harmonix would make people pay a hundred bucks a year because this looks like a very high quality service compared to actionvision's low quality ''gh mix'' witch in my opinion is horrible.

@13NERD They are...you can hear it, two opens and then an octave up, then theres two that have the third an octave itself.
