[52] Jersey Boys 2 - Second Chance Summer - JBLS

Kevin and Hannah go back downstairs. Joe and Nick looks suspiciously at them, but Kevin assures them by saying

"Guys, we just talked about Miranda"
Nick : Uh huh.
Hannah : Come on, what else would we talk about? [laughs]
Joe : [smiles] True true, so lets do something fun today! Triple date?!
Kevin : YES!
Hannah : Yay! That's like my favorite thing!
Kevin : Good! So where should we go first?
Nick : I think you guys are forgetting about my little problem
Hannah : What's that?
Nick : Oh I don't know, the thing about me not having a girlfriend who wants to hang out with me
Joe : Oh, yeah. Well, then I guess it'll just be a double date! Lets go!
Hannah : Joe, no. We'll just hang out here. And we'll go on a triple date whenever Bekah comes around
Kevin : [mumbles] If she ever does
Hannah : [laughs] That's mean. You guys cool with just staying here and hanging out?
Joe : Sure
Kevin : Yeah, I'll just invite Miranda over here.
Nick : Sounds marvelous.

The day went on as everybody hung out. Bekah stayed at Samantha's all day again, like usual. Bekah and Samantha usually spent their time talking about Bekah's parents, boyfriends, or friends.

Hannah began to feel like her and Bekah were no longer friends. She never acknowledged her, or even made eye contact with her when she'd come around.

A few days passed and nothing had changed. Nick was still upset that his girlfriend literally showed no interest in him. Hannah was hurt that Bekah would never tell her what was going on.
Kevin and Miranda had no problems. They just were the cutest couple. Joe was just himself. He and Hannah didn't have any stupid fights, like they used to.

Hannah could tell that Nick was truly upset about the whole Bekah thing. Hannah thought Nick deserved to know everything. Finally she decided that it was right to tell him, and she did. They had a long conversation about Bekah. They talked about her parents, then why Bekah wouldn't have told them. They were both upset, but Nick was more upset then Hannah. He couldn't believe that Bekah would hide something so big in her life.

At first Nick was mad. Then he tried to understand where Bekah was coming from. He couldn't though. He knew he had to talk to her in person.

DAY 12 IN LA

It was around eight in the evening. Kevin and Miranda were out on a date. Mr. and Mrs. Jonas were out with some of their friends. Frankie, Hannah, Joe and Nick were all in Frankie's room playing video games. Bekah was just getting home, and of course, she went downstairs. Nick heard her and ran downstairs.

Bekah was taking off her shoes and putting away her things.

Nick knocked on the open door.

Nick : Hey, can we talk?
Bekah : Yeah, sure. What's up?
Nick : I want to know why you don't tell me anything anymore.
Bekah : I've just been busy Nick
Nick : You choose to be busy, do don't HAVE to hang out with Samantha all day long
Bekah : Well you and I are doing are little week long break or whatever
Nick : From each other yeah. But not from everyone else. You're ignoring everyone. Even Hannah
Bekah : So what
Nick : Just tell me what is bothering you
Bekah : NOTHING IS BOTHERING ME, OK?
Nick :[yelling] Quit lying to me!
Bekah : [yelling back] I AM NOT
Nick : [sighs] I know about your parents

Bekah just stares at Nick.

Nick : Why didn't you say anything to me?

Bekah doesn't say anything. She just shakes her head. Nick can tell that she is mad.

Nick : It's not a big deal, I just wanted to know why you didn't tell me
Bekah : Not a big deal? Not a big deal Nick!? My parents are getting a freaking divorce. How is that not a big deal?!
Nick : No, Bekah I meant the whole not telling me part. I am sorry about your parents though
Bekah : Oh, [sarcastically] thanks because sorry makes everything SO much better!
Nick : Bekah, please. Don't be mad at me. I just want to be here for you and want you to know--
Bekah : Wait, how did you find out?
Nick : It doesn't matter. What matters is that you know that I am here for you ok? If you want to talk about anything--
Bekah : WHO TOLD YOU?
Nick : Hannah, but don't get mad at her

Bekah storms out of the room and go upstairs. Hannah was on her down from upstairs and she saw Bekah.

Hannah : Hey! Do you want to go on a triple date tonight

Bekah looks at Hannah and shakes her head. "Go to hell" She said to Hannah as she continued to walk outside.
